Sarah Kinsey – Piano & Singing Lessons
I graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, specialising in composition and voice and piano performance. Since then, I have taught piano and singing to students in Aberdeen and then Tameside when I moved to Hyde in 2011. With these students, I have so far hosted two Student Showcase Concerts in 2014 and 2015, with another to take place in December 2016 (see upcoming events). I aim with these concerts to give all of the students who wish to, the opportunity to perform in front of their family and friends, an invaluable opportunity for any musician of any age!
Between 2011 and 2014, I volunteered with the Willow Wood Hospice, working with the hospice choir as conductor and arranger. With the WWH Choir, we performed at coffee mornings, weddings, parties and other fundraising events, raising money for the hospice.
After moving to Tameside, I have continued to study singing and have since gained a Distinction Level Licentiate Diploma from Trinity College London in Singing Performance (LTCL), and given recitals in Hyde with accompanists John Miles and Lauryna Sableviciute.
